Mutiny, Sketch and Brown- JudeRivera Inspired

Recently my favorite Youtube Guru came back and started making videos again. I know it seems silly, but it made me incredibly happy. I just started this blog and discovered that she had one as well. I was looking through hers and came across this look that she did a few days ago. I just bought Mutiny Pigment from the A Rose Romance collection and I just had to try it out! Her Mutiny is definitely more teal from the base she used, but I think I came fairly close. If you would like to visit her blog: www.girly-show.blogspot.com This is Jude's eye above. It blows mine out of the water :)

Products used to achieve this look:

Eyes:
[MAC] Painterly PP
[Mehron] Tropical Palette Blue AQ
[MAC] Soft Brown e/s (swept into crease and above)
[MAC] Mutiny Pigment (packed onto lid)
[MAC] Go e/s (swept into crease and blended up into Soft Brown)
[MAC] Brun e/s (lightly in crease to darken)
[MAC] Sketch e/s (in crease and over e/l on lower lashline)
[MAC] Fab Orchid e/l (along lower lashline)
[Revlon] Matte cream e/s (highlight)
[MAC] Powerpoint e/l (waterline)
[Maybelline] Full-n-Soft mascara
[MAC] BTFL

Cheeks:
[MAC] Fleur Power blush

Lips:
[MAC] Missy Slimshine

Mine is definitely more blue than teal.

I also changed up the lower lashline to the purple. I love a pop of color underneath :)

Engaged!

So, as a few of you already know, I got engaged recently to this sexy man: Just for a brief history on our relationship: We've been dating since Sept. 23rd, 2006 and our three year is coming up in a few months :) He proposed April 23rd, 2009 and we're looking to get married either 9/23/10 or 4/23/11.
This ring was my great grandmothers. I was named after her (her middle name was Eliza). The ring is almost 100 years old- they were married in 1926!

Who knew that she has the same tastes in jewelry as me? haha

Gangsta Granny

So I recently got these sunglasses at Charlotte Rousse:
I LOVE them :) They're so old-lady-bingo chic. haha Just something about them makes me happy. Just thought I would share with you guys. Oh, and they were only $5!
(Anyone else notice how my right eye looks like I have a cracked out pupil? Just the camera reflection, people.)

Who says beauty can't be based on a sea cow?
